The conservation area between the Big Maumelle and Little Maumelle Rivers is a haven for rare plant and animal species such as the western diamondback rattlesnake, the southeastern bat, and the Wright’s cliffbrake, a western desert fern. The area offers over 5 miles of hiking and biking trails that snake through the captivating landscape.
William Kirsch Preserve
Explore the meadows, forests, and wetlands of the picturesque preserve on the four hiking trails that meander through the park and enjoy magnificent views of Pinnacle Mountain. The William Kirsch Preserve is within the 234-acre Ranch North Woods Preserve. You can also kayak down the river or overnight on a floating campsite.
Pinnacle Mountain State Park
